What do Retinal Rosettes Mean ?
Retinal alterations involving photoreceptors include retinal dysplasia. The term is used to describe focal or multifocal disorganisation focus/foci of the sensory retina du to faulty development. Usually, it is named retinal rosettes or folds. Spontaneous retinal rosettes occurs frequently in many laboratory animals, especially in rats and rabbits (Rubin 1974).
